General students and different student organisations have taken to the streets at Dhaka University to protest the incidents of sexual harassment on the campus during Pohela Boishakh (Bengoli New Year 1422) celebration.

Witnesses said a group of at least 30 unruly youths swooped on a number of women and sexually assaulted them in the TSC and Suhrawardy Udyan gate areas of Dhaka on the evening of 14th April,2015
